Five Year Extension for Flood Insurance Passes U.S. Senate

Just two minutes ago the US Senate passed the Five year flood insurance extension!!!  The bill now goes to President Obama for his signature.  This turned into a very large bill that also included the surface transportartion reauthorization bill as well as the student loan bill that freezes interest rates on federal subsidized student loans.

There were 24,676 Miami FL foreclosure homes in April 2012, according to RealtyTrac.com with 1 in every 257 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing. The average sales price of a Miami FL home was $234,530 in May while the average sales price of a Miami FL foreclosure home was $142,116, a $92,415 savings.

Plans to turn Miamias Design District into a high-end fashion destination are quickly gaining critical mass with more than two dozen luxury retailers like Fendi, Zegna and Bulgari on the way.

Louis Vuitton and HermAs were the first to announce plans last year to close stores at the Bal Harbour Shops and open in the Miami Design District.
