Taking a breather from glob-trotting, Kevin Brass, reporter for the International Herald Tribune, shared his real estate insights with the attendees at the International Real Estate Congress at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida.  Citing London and Spain as "Cold" spots, Brass also discussed his "Danger" and "Interesting" markets - Brass provided additional points of view to the international real estate markets.

Opening day for the International Real Estate Congress at the Biltmore Hotel featured MichaelZellner, Editorial Director for Latin Trade- magazine and on-line publication.  Citing Miami's strengths and weakneses, Zellner concluded that Miami's connection to Venezuela, Ecuador and Argentina will continue to grow; Global slowdown will be offset by Latin American shoppers; and more trade willmean more business for Miami.

Speaking before Realtors attending The International Real Estate Congress at the Biltmore Hotel, Dr. Lawrence Yun said "Home prices in South Florida "easily" could be 20 to 30 percent higher by 2013.  Yun is the chief economist for the National Association of Realtors.  Yun called 2008 a "year of cleanup" and says the second half will be better than the first because mortgage markets are improving nationwide and across South Florida.
